The floor underneath me is shifting
Tiles are gone crazy with moving and lifting
The windows have all gone quite weird
As though breathing, or so it appears
Meanwhile the walls wobble crazily
And the lampshade wiggles lazily
And the ceiling moves all funny
Like a rumble in your tummy
And the single most curious thing
Though it has the most dubious ring
Is that I like the way it's moving
Along
So I smile while walls are changing,
The furniture's rearranging.
As the bedroom's topsy turvy
Shaky floors don't make me nervy
I watch the paintings find their walls
And baseboards gather in the halls
And the kitchen's turned on it's end
